Aside from that, we are now entering our 27th year in the firework industry! We are a family-owned and operated state licensed retailer of 1.4G consumer fireworks. We are happy to be your local Central Illinois source for a full range of 1.4g consumer fireworks, confetti cannons, and pyro novelties! Stocked year-round in our permanent, brick-and-mortar store.

We are a locally owned and operated small family business that loves to give back! We have been at this location for 18+ years (formerly The Village Toy Chest). Located in the quaint old Coal Mining Town of Gillespie, Illinois, along old Route 66.  The city of Gillespie is located on the 1926 to 1930 Route 66 alignment.

Our 2000 square foot firework showroom is packed with over 300 different products from sparklers and smoke, to 200/350/500g cakes, fountains, Saturn missiles, parachutes, artillery shells, and assortment packs with our always competitive pricing! Our firework store has become a popular destination for firework lovers from all over Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri!
